That means we are not a cleaning company that employs the people who arrive at your door — instead, we do the work of finding, screening, and introducing independent cleaning professionals, and you engage the professional directly. Our role is the trusted layer in between: vetting, matching, and supporting, so you can hire with confidence. We focus on interior residential and commercial cleaning across Los Angeles and Ventura County — eight offices, from Santa Monica and Beverly Hills to Thousand Oaks and Camarillo — matching each client with a professional suited to their home, their standards, and their schedule.
How We Vet
The value of a referral agency lives entirely in the quality of its screening. Before we introduce a professional to a client, we conduct an in-person interview, check references, and run a background screening, and we brief each professional on the standards and care a home requires. By the time someone is referred to you, the groundwork is already done — and for privacy-sensitive households, discretion and NDAs can be arranged as part of the match.

The operation is run day to day by our general manager, and the cleaning itself is done by a close circle of independent professionals we've worked alongside for years — not a rotating, anonymous roster.
Chris Szetela
Chris founded Maid VIP and owns the agency, building it around a referral model rather than a payroll of cleaners. A digital marketing and SEO specialist by background, he set out to fix a problem he kept running into in Thousand Oaks: hiring a trustworthy cleaner shouldn't be a gamble. His role is connecting clients with elite, independent professionals and defining the standards each one is vetted against — not cleaning homes himself. Day-to-day operations run through Charm, while the cleaning is always handled by the independent professionals in the network.
I started Maid VIP with a simple conviction: cleaning deserves a far higher standard, and the professionals who do it deserve to earn their true worth — not to be ground down competing for the lowest price. So I set out to bring the very best cleaners together into one trusted circle, matched to the households that truly value them. The result is simple: your home cared for by experts, and your hours given back to the things you love.
