Moorpark Country Club Estates is a gated Toll Brothers community off Championship Drive on the north side of Moorpark (93021), between Walnut Canyon Road and Grimes Canyon Road. The homes were built from 2002 to 2006: one- and two-story plans of about 4,000 to 5,800 sq ft with up to six bedrooms and six and a half baths, on lots of roughly a third to half an acre. Many have pools, and some back onto the fairways.
The Moorpark Country Club wraps around them: 27 semi-private holes in three nines — Canyon Crest, Creekside and Ridgeline — on rolling former avocado and citrus land, the first 18 opened in 2002. The terrain is open to the wind. In January 2025 the National Weather Service named Moorpark in a “particularly dangerous situation” Red Flag Warning with gusts forecast above 80 mph, and wind days leave fine dust on sills, ledges and pool-facing glass. July afternoons average 86°F.
Water comes from Ventura County Waterworks District No. 1: mostly imported State Water Project supply at about 8.3 grains per gallon of hardness, blended with local wells at about 12.9 (2025 report).
